Honey-garlic Roasted Salmon
This one is my favorite and so easy to make.
Ingredients:
The roasted:
2 fillet salmon (skin on)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
The sauce:
2 clove garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 lemon, both juice and zest
4 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
- marinade the salmon with lemon juice, salt, and pepper for about 30 mins.
- bake skin side down in 400F oven for 15 mins, or until the surface of the salmon is slightly burned (or any level to your liking)
- melt butter in a saucepan, stir fry garlic until gulden brown, pour lemon juice and its zest, honey, and brown sugar.
- pour the sauce to the salmon, sprinkle with parsley, and bake again for a minute.
- enjoy with your favorite sides (veggies, potato salad, fries, etc.)
